My entry for a contest DevArt had going a while back for the seven deadly sins and seven heavenly virtues. The anthro section was assigned 'fortitude'. I got an honorable mention, I think... I sort of forget.

The picture is a little dated now, and there are certain things I had rushed (the brick, for instance, is a repeated texture, and very badly implemented), but overall I still like it.

"Courage, also known as bravery and fortitude, is the ability to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty or intimidation."

Courage isn't always fighting the mighty dragon. More often than not, it's closer to home than that.
